O DunnOpal Karoline Dunn was born December 31, 1933, in Perkins, Oklahoma, to John Albert and Velma Lucille Williams Riley. She died July 10, 2017, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years. Karoline was reared and educated in Perkins, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Perkins High School Class of 1951. She was married January 4, 1954, in Perkins to James Erwin “Jim” Dunn. They had made their home in Owasso since 1972. She spent most of her working life in food services with Owasso Public Schools. She was a loving Christian lady and had been a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso for over 30 years and then with Grace Baptist Church in Owasso. She was an excellent cook not only for the school but with her church as well. She made many trips with the church youth group to Falls Creek cooking for the youth. During her life she also enjoyed bowling and bowled with leagues in Tulsa. Most important to her in her life was her family.

Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
Three sons; Mike Dunn and his wife Yvonne, of Seattle, Washington, Lyndell Dunn and his wife Jamie, of Owasso, and Nathan Dunn and his wife Selena, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Six grandchildren; Joseph Dunn and his wife Angie, Michelle Cordova and her husband Fernando, James Dunn and his fiance’ Allison Dugas, Jack Dunn and his wife Joyce, John Dunn, and Brooke Dunn.
Six great grandchildren; Roman Dunn, Cora Dunn, Nando Cordova, Frezno Cordova, Luca Dunn, and Breanna Bolin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim, sister, Katherine Westfall, and brother, Arlis Riley.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2017, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Dean Tucker officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be James Dunn, Jack Dunn, John Dunn, Ted Vancuren, Mac Borgna, and Jim Archer. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
