Locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables will also be available.

In addition to the Café, Owasso teens in grades 8-12 are invited to come to the Youth Café from 2:30 until 4:00 for healthy snacks, as well as pizza and ice cream. They will be able to enjoy these items in an atmosphere of acceptance and hospitality. Also, the café space will be available for rent, by donation, for evening or weekend activities and meetings.

OpenTable Community Café is the ministry of two churches in Owasso – First Presbyterian Church and OpenTable United Church of Christ (UCC) withot volunteers and support from First United Methodist Church, LifeChurch.tv, First Baptist Church and Discovery Bible Fellowship. The vision for the Café is to help end hunger while creating community including providing an affirming environment for teens.

In the tradition of One World Everybody Eats (OWEE), OpenTable Community Café is a pay-as-you-are-able café where people pay what they are able by donation – no cash register. Some pay the suggested amount, others pay more to help buy a meal for someone in need, and some pay little or nothing or pay with a token they have earned or received from a food pantry, the police department, business or caring individual. People in need can work at the café, local churches, or participating agencies to earn a token for a meal for their family.
