Otto Henry Kubecka Jr,Otto Henry Kubecka, Jr., was born May 31, 1954, in Victoria, Texas, to Otto Henry Kubecka, Sr., and Johnnie Lee Newcomb Kubecka. He died Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 67 years. Otto was raised and educated in Victoria, Texas, and graduated with the Victoria High School Class of 1972. He continued his education attending Victoria College. Otto spent over 40 years of his working life as a shift supervisor and power plant operator beginning with Central Power and Light in Victoria, Texas, then with American Electric Power, formerly Public Service of Oklahoma, in Oologah, Oklahoma. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially woodworking and operating remote-controlled devices such as drones, airplanes, and cars. He loved visiting the family ranch, enjoying nature, operating ranch equipment, and target shooting. He loved going for drives in his red Mustang that he called “The Stang”, traveling, and taking pictures of the sights on vacation. Family was very dear to him and he always enjoyed visiting with them, as well as spending time with his dog Missy.

Brothers; Jeff Kubecka, and wife Christy, of Victoria, Texas and nephew Corey Kubecka
Don Kubecka and wife Linda, of Palmetto, Florida and niece Kristen Kubecka
Son; Michael Kubecka, of San Antonio, Texas
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Johnnie Kubecka Sr.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Chris Wall officiating. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at the Phelps Prairie Dale Cemetery in Caldwell, Texas. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
