COOLThe City of Owasso and City Manager Warren Lehr will be hosting 2 community meetings to discuss the April 5, 2016 Vision Owasso election. Please join us on Tuesday, March 22nd from 6 to 7:30pm in the RAM Room at the Owasso Community Center or on Thursday, March 31st from 6 to 7:30pm at the Owasso Campus of Tulsa Technology Center for a short presentation and Q & A.

On January 19, 2016, the Owasso City Council approved Resolution 2016-01 and Ordinance 1068 calling for an election on April 5, 2016. The purpose of the election is to submit a project-based question to voters, which if approved, will recapture a portion of the expiring Tulsa County sales tax, known as Vision 2025. The proposition requests approval of fifty-five hundredths of one percent (.55%) of the expiring sixty hundredths of one percent (.60%), beginning January 1, 2017 and expiring December 31, 2023, for the following projects:
