A Mommy & Me style music class workshop called “Bounce’n Beethoven” has been scheduled at the Owasso Community Center located at 301 South Cedar Street, south of 76th Street behind Fire Station #2.  The class is presented by Midtown School of Performing Arts, Tulsa.

Katherine Battenberg, the Instructor of the class at the Owasso Community Center, when asked about teaching music to little ones, said “I love helping children and their parents discover new ways of playing through music and movement.  Our class encourages creativity and self-expression and how to balance those skills while sharing and following directions.  It’s great preparation for preschool and life in general.”

Classes are designed for children, birth to five years, to energize and motivate.  The classes can even calm and hold the attention of most preschoolers for almost an hour and are scheduled for Wednesdays at 10:15 am – 11:00 am.    Cost is $55 month.  Classes are expected to begin in August.
