Celebrate Owasso’s Main Street coming to life at The Gathering on Main “Roots and Boots” on Thursday, August 7, 2014, from 6-9pm. This monthly festival provides a safe and festive event for all ages as a portion of Main Street is blocked from the flow of traffic for an evening of music, art, food and fun for the entire family.
Red Dirt, Southern Rock and Country sounds of The Bo Phillips Band will keep the Main Stage rockin’ throughout the evening. You will hear soulful ballads, gritty lead rides and toe-tapping favorites.
An estimated 8,000 people attended last month’s Gathering to sample food from more than 20 food trucks, shop for unique quality items from local artisans and farmers, visit the kids’ zone and watch live street performers on multiple stages.
The purpose of The Gathering on Main is to create a street festival-like environment for the community by providing a safe and enjoyable event for all ages.
