09/26/2018 – Oklahoma Home and Community Education – Tulsa County (OHCE-TC) is a continuing program of education in all aspects of home and community life.  Its ultimate aim is to improve the quality of life for individuals and families through all stages of family and community life.

The Owasso Jewels Group meet at the Baptist Village of Owasso, (7410 N. 127th E. Avenue, Owasso) the second Tuesday of each month, at 1:00 p.m., to present researched valuable lessons for the best interest of the family, home and community.  The October 9 meeting will be “Stocking Up – Pantry Essentials”.   The focus will be on what is necessary and convenient for individual needs in the kitchen that will make your kitchen become “kitchen user ready” and “kitchen user friendly”.  Find out how important arranging your pantry can be to help you save time in food prep and to be more efficient in the kitchen. Know what “Pantry Essentials” are and learn some organizing tips.  

The Guest Speaker will be Tamatha Jenkins, Volunteer Coordinator with Evergreen Hospice and Home Health, Tulsa , Okla.   She will show the importance of arranging medications for convenience and safety, as well as having an accessible “Availability List” of distribution of medicines.
