ohp-logo-500x375-43131_200x200An Owasso man died Wednesday morning after his motorcycle collided with a pick-up truck on Keetonville Hill. Owasso Fire, Limestone Fire, Rogers County Sheriffs Department and Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene.

The official OHP report states that Edward Hauser, 68, of Owasso was driving his driving a 2006 Honda eastbound on Keetonville Hill at a high rate of speed . He veered left of center and collided with a westbound 1994 Chevy Silverado driven by Cecil Pilgrim, 72, of Claremore.

The OHP report states that Pilgrim tried to avoid the collision but Hauser hit the left front wheel of the truck. Pilgrim did not require treatment.

Hauser was wearing a helmet.

The Highway remained was closed until about 1:45pm.
