Grady Mercer might only be 21, but this โkidโ is gearing up to take on the world โ literally! This fall and winter, heโs making a run at the 2026 Olympic Bobsled Team. ๐ท๐บ๐ธ
Now, Oklahoma isnโt exactly known for icy tracks, but that hasnโt stopped Grady from chasing his dream full speed ahead. His journey kicked off in 2016 at just 12 years old โ playing competitive baseball, racing cars, and catching the eye of former Olympic bobsledder & coach Dave Owens. That connection opened the door to USA Bobsled-Skeleton training, and from his very first trip down the mountain in a monobobโฆ he was hooked.
Fast forward to today โ Gradyโs already raced for Team USA on the North American Cup circuit, holding his own against older, more experienced competitors. Now, heโs aiming for the biggest stage of all: the Winter Olympics.
