Owasso Police Press Release

Bryan Mario Wesley

At approximately 11:51 AM, Owasso Police were called to the Atwood’s, located at 11510 North Garnett Road in Owasso for suspicious persons inside the store attempting to steal merchandise.

Store management provided clothing descriptions of the suspects.  An officer arrived within minutes and observed one of the suspects in the parking lot, entering a vehicle.  The officer ran the tag of the vehicle and discovered it was reported stolen out of Bartlesville, OK.

The officer took one suspect into custody as the 2nd suspect was leaving the store.  The 2nd suspect observed the Officer in the parking lot and ran on foot north towards 116th Street North, just west of North Garnett Rd.  The on-scene officer lost sight of the 2nd suspect as the suspect rounded the old Las Americas building.

Other responding officers arrived shortly and set up a perimeter around the Hale Acres and County Estates Additions, however poor weather (Severe Thunderstorm) inhibited searching Police K9s.  The 2nd suspect is still outstanding but was described as a white bald male, wearing a black shirt and has sleeve tattoos on both arms.  The stolen vehicle was recovered and impounded.

Taken into custody was:

18yo Bryan Mario Wesley of Bartlesville, OK on tribal charges (as he is a member of a federally recognized tribe).
