Owasso, OK – At approximately 1:30 a.m. on Friday, July 4, 2025, Owasso Police responded to an intrusion alarm at Atwoods, located at 11510 N Garnett Rd. Upon arrival, officers discovered an open rear door and immediately cleared the building to ensure no suspects were inside.
While searching the store, officers observed multiple power tool boxes scattered throughout the aisles, leading toward the back door—indicating a burglary had occurred. An Atwoods employee was called to the scene to provide access to the store’s security footage.
While waiting for the employee to arrive, patrol officers conducted a search of the area surrounding the store. In a wooded area

behind the building, they located a bicycle and a tarp filled with boxed power tools. More boxes were found scattered throughout the wooded area, forming a trail from the store’s rear entrance to the hidden stash.

Over $3,400 worth of Dewalt and Milwaukee power tools were recovered and returned to the store.
