Owasso Police Arrest Two Juveniles after Burglary from Auto Call Early Wednesday Morning

07/15/2020 – This morning at 3:50 AM, a resident in the Fairways Addition near 10100 East 93rd Street North observed multiple male suspects rummaging through vehicles parked in the area.

Before the resident could call Police the suspects noticed they were being watched by the caller and they fled the area on foot.

Officers canvassed the area and observed a vehicle speeding near 9400 N Mingo Rd. A short vehicle pursuit ensued that led the officers into the Lakes at Baily Ranch neighborhood. The pursuit ended near 9500 North 95th East Ave where multiple male suspects exited the car and fled on foot.

During a canvass of the Lakes at Baily Ranch neighborhood, a juvenile male suspect was taken into custody. An additional male suspect was taken into custody near 9800 North Garnett Rd. The suspects were a 16yo and a 17yo, both from Tulsa.
No other suspects were located although it was believed at least 2 additional suspects fled from the vehicle. The car was reported to have been stolen out of Tulsa.

Both were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Tulsa, and charged with:
2nd Degree Burglary
Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
Eluding Police
Possession of Narcotics

Stolen items were located inside the suspect vehicle indicating multiple vehicles around the area were broken in to. Those items included checkbook(s), mail/envelopes, and money. These items were inventoried and are being held by police until they can be returned to the proper owners.
