10/02/2025 – On Tuesday, September 30th the Owasso Police Department swore in three new officers, and promoted one. 

New officers include:

• Officer Kameron Ferguson, Badge #1127 was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Union High School and later enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served with Fox Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment.
 
He began his law enforcement career in 2023 as a certified peace officer with the Sperry Police Department after completing the Basic CLEET Academy. In 2024, he joined the Verdigris Police Department, where he served for just over a year before joining the Owasso Police Department in June 2025.
 
Officer Ferguson was pinned by his significant other, Ashlynn Matheny.
 
• Jordan Galaway Badge 1125 was born in Oceanside, California. He attended El Camino and Eleanor Roosevelt High Schools in California. Jordan began his law enforcement career in 2021, working as a jailer with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.
 
In 2022, he joined the Tulsa Community College Campus Police Department, where he attended CLEET and became a certified peace officer before transferring to the Owasso Police Department in December 2024.
 
His badge was pinned by his father, Brian Brassieur.
 
• Lucian Bode Badge 1126 was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and raised between Tulsa and Haskell.
He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and went on to earn an associate degree in Fire and Emergency Medical Services Technology from Tulsa Community College.
 
Lucian began his career in public safety in 2021 as a detention officer at the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center, where he served for six months. In 2022, he joined the Owasso Police Department as a dispatcher. In January 2025, he transitioned into law enforcement, attended CLEET, and became a certified peace officer with the department.
 
Lucian was married to Emily Leanne Bode, and his badge was pinned by Officer Zach Moore.

John Arnold Promoted from Patrol to Sergeant

The Owasso Police Department promotion of Officer John Arnold, Badge #994 from Patrol to Sergeant.

John Arnold began his law enforcement career in March 2015 with the Creek County Sheriff’s Office, where he served as a patrol deputy and earned his basic CLEET certification. In July 2017, he joined the Owasso Police Department and has since become a respected member of the team.

Before entering law enforcement, Arnold served in the United States Marine Corps from 2002 to 2008. His service included a deployment to Fallujah, Iraq in 2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Throughout his career with Owasso PD, Arnold has taken on leadership roles in several specialized units. He has been a member of the Firearms Instructor Unit since 2019, the K9 Unit since 2019, and the Owasso Honor Guard since 2023. His dedication and expertise have not gone unnoticed—Arnold has received numerous awards, including multiple Firearms Proficiency Awards, multiple K9 Awards, two Oklahoma Top Cop Awards, the Police Service Award, and several Unit Citations.

Today, Arnold was joined by his family and fellow officers for his promotion ceremony. His wife, Elizabeth, had the honor of pinning his Sergeant badge, marking an exciting new chapter in his law enforcement career.
