12/10/2018 – From the Owasso Police Department
Today at 12:37PM, OPD received information about a possible suicidal subject in the area of Centennial Park at 15300 E 86 ST N. Officers from the Owasso Police Department and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the area in an effort to locate the person. As a precaution, area schools were placed on external lockdown, but there was never a direct threat to any of the schools or any students. Officers canvassed the wooded areas around the park and located the subject on foot in the area at approximately 2:40PM. The subject was taken into custody without incident and the school lockdowns have been lifted.
