10/09/2019 – Owasso Public Schools are preparing in advance for possible rain on Thursday afternoon. Listed below is the current plan that has already been shared and plan B if there is a need to change because of weather. The school will make the decision for which plan will be executed on Thursday by noon and communicate through social media, school email, website, and School Messenger.
Currently, the schedule for this Thursday afternoon’s events are:
- 4:30-5:00 All-City Homecoming Pep Rally in the stadium
- 5:00-6:30 OHS Homecoming Festival in the stadium parking lot
- Both events are open to everyone.
In the event of rain on Thursday afternoon, the schedule would be:
- They will not have the All-City Pep Rally in the stadium.
- To replace the canceled All-City Rally there will be two pep rallies during the school day on Friday afternoon in the OHS gym.
- All parents are welcome to attend the rallies during the school day.
- They will have the Festival in the indoor facility on Thursday afternoon from 4:30 – 6:00. This event will be open to the public.
