Owasso sophomores were part of the 2017 State horse Judging championship team at the OSU State Horse Judging competition in Stillwater this weekend.

Hannah Cain and Mikayla South, both Sophomores at Owasso High School, along with team mates Lara Hays a sophomore and Abby Hays a senior from Sequoyah High school, were part of the Rogers county horse judging team who swept state again winning hi point awards in Team Placings and Team Reasons, therefore winning the State champions Team award in the 4-H Division for the 2nd year in a row. The team mates also won individual high point awards, with Lara winning hi point individual, Abby winning reserve, Hannah placing 4th and Mikayla tying for 10th. The win qualifies the team for the second year in a row to compete at the 2017 AQYHA World show August 11th in Oklahoma City.
