06/29/2017 – Jaxon Wadley will be a 4th Grader this fall at Bailey Elementary School in Owasso.

Before he starts back to school, he will be taking a trip of a lifetime.

Jaxon recently competed with hundreds of other young men, trying out in Tulsa and Dallas for a spot in the All American Games.  He was one of the lucky few chosen and will be traveling to Florida in August to play at ESPN fields.

Though his main position is catcher, he can play any position and was chosen for All American based on his pitching, catching and hitting. He’s a switch hitter as well! He plays for the local team “OC Cardinals”, made up of Owasso and Collinsville boys.

Jaxon is a perfect example of a child who found out that hard work pays off. He wakes up every morning and runs, hits and practices.  Even through the school year he woke up early to get work in. He is first to be on the field and the last to leave. He takes private lessons weekly.  Jaxon is a good  example to show where hard work and a great attitude gets you.

He mother tells us “he is quiet and so humble and has achieved so much in his short baseball career, even winning the World Series Home Run Derby last summer.  He also has had more plays behind the plate, throwing kids out, than any kid his age, his speed and consistency are incredible.”

His family wants to let kids see where hard work takes them.
