10/09/2019 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a fatality collision occurred on 10/09/2019 at approximately 6:21 AM on SH20 at 177th East Avenue, 1 mile east of Owasso, in Rogers County.

A 2004 Honda Accord driven by a juvenile male, age 17, of Owasso, OK was driving northbound out 177th when he failed to yield at a stop sign.  A 2020 Freightliner Truck driven by David Kielhorn, age 57, of Collinsville was traveling eastbound on Highway 20 and struck the Accord on the driver’s side. The driver of the accord was pinned for 1.5 hours,  extricated by Limestone Fire Department using the Hurst Jaws of Life. He was pronounced at the scene by EMS personnel from massive injuries.

A 17yo male passenger was transported by Owasso EMS to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa where he was treated and released.

Kielhorn was transported by Owasso EMS to Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK where he was treated and released.
