Peggy Ruthe Crawford was born April 12, 1955, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to James Wesley and Margaret Elizabeth Green Cole. She died Sunday, April 16, 2017, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 62 years. Peggy was reared and educated in Wichita Falls and graduated with the Wichita Falls High School Class of 1973. She was married July 12, 1974, in Wichita Falls to Joseph A. Crawford. They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1977 before making their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, in 1990. Peggy spent most of her working life as an accountant with over 40 years employed by Dresser-Rand and Chart Services in Tulsa. She was a faithful member of Rejoice Church in Owasso. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including traveling. She was a very talented artist working in sketches, paintings, Zentangle, and digital art on her iPad. She was also a special friend to many on Facebook and Quitnet.

Aunts; Helen Bassham, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Louise Wilcoxen, of Rantoul, Illinois
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, James Wesley Cole, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at Rejoice Church in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Riverside Cemetery in Wichita Falls, Texas. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 4110 South 100th East Avenue, Suite 101, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74146, or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 510 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
