cookie on a stick

Ingredients:

  1. 1 tube (18 oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  2. 2/3 cup flour
  3. 48 mini pretzel twists
  4. 3 cups Brand Milk Chocolate
  5. Yellow sprinkles
  6. 24 pieces DOVE Dark Chocolate
  7. 1 cup M&M’S Candies for the Holidays
  8. Snowflake sprinkles
  9. 1 tube white decorative frosting
  10. 3-inch round cookie cutter
  11. Parchment Paper
  12. Red and green curling ribbon
  13. Craft sticks
  14. Cookie sheet

Directions

 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line the cookie sheets with Parchment Paper, set aside.
  2. 2. Knead the sugar cookie dough with the flour until smooth. Roll it to 1/4-inch thickness. Press out 24 cookie rounds with the cookie cutter. Transfer the circles to an ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. 3. Break the top curves of the pretzel twists to resemble antlers. Then, press 2 pretzels at the top of each cookie circle and one craft stick at the bottom.
  4. 4. Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes, or until golden. Let them cool on a wire rack.
  5. 5. Melt the Milk Chocolate in the microwave for 1-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread a spoonful of chocolate over each cookie and pretzel
  6. 6. Sprinkle the yellow sprinkles over the antlers and the snowflake sprinkles in between the antlers as the hair. Place a DOVE Dark Chocolate into the middle of each cookie, and then place it on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
  7. 7. Chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate is hardened, about 15 minutes
  8. 8. Attach the M&M’S Candies to the  Milk Chocolate for the eyes and nose with decorative icing. Tie a ribbon into a bow at the bottom of the reindeer’s head.
