Ronald Lee Laster was born on April 23, 1937, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Talmage Laster and Frances Jane (Hough) Laster. He died on Friday, September 18, 2020, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years. Ron was raised and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Will Rogers High School Class of 1956. He was married on November 22, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Loretta Mae (Hibbard) Laster. Ron spent most of his working life as an Inspector for the Ford Motor Company at the Tulsa Glass Plant for over 30 years. He also enlisted and served in the Army National Guard for 15 years. Ron was a faithful member at Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso for over 25 years. He enjoyed a variety of past times such rebuilding and working on computers, working on car engines, and spending time at the doughnut shop with the doughnut shop crew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Frances, and his stepmother, Jean.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Linzy Slayden officiating. There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
