Rosalee Roberts was born October 6, 1943, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, to Roy Benjamin Callahan and Oletha Maynard Callahan. She died Saturday, May 11, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. Rosalee completed her secondary education in Sallisaw and was a graduate of Sallisaw High School. She continued her education at Warner State Junior College (now Connors State College) in Warner, Oklahoma. Rosalee was married July 12, 1976, in Houston, Texas, to Glynn Roberts. She had several occupations during her working life. Her love for flowers and flower arrangements began a longstanding career as a florist. She worked with her sister Wanda at Owasso Flowers for much of her early time. Later on, she worked as a court clerk with the Tulsa County Court system. She retired after six years with the Oklahoma State Department of Public Safety in the drivers license division.
Rosalee was a longtime faithful member of First Baptist Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma. She also enjoyed exercising with the ladies at the church. Even in retirement she still enjoyed working in the yard and going to garage sales with Wanda. One of her favorite times was her annual “sister date” where she and her sisters would gather together for dinner. She was also fond of her role as “Nana” to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Oletha Callahan, husband, Glynn Roberts, son, Danny Roberts, brothers, Ben Callahan, Bill Callahan, and Harvey Callahan, and two sisters, Cherry Edwards, and Wanda Blevins.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, at Collinsville First Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Prock officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Andy Bailey, Yancy Roberts, Dustin West, Jimmy West, Ryan Roberts, and Mike Cashon. Committal service and interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
