Sandra Joan Schwartz was born August 6, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Billy Joe and Billye Jo Kirkpatrick McKown. She died Wednesday, February 20, 2019, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years. Sandra was reared and educated in Tulsa and was a graduated of McLain High School. She completed her education earning her master’s degree at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She spent most of her working life as a school teacher with Mingo Schools, and Tulsa Public Schools. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, but teaching and helping others was her passion.

Two brothers; Stephen McKown and John McKown
And several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Funeral service was held Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Final resting place will be at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
