Sidney John Bumgardner was born on June 11, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Paul Miller Bumgardner and Dorothy Arlene (Brandon) Bumgardner. He passed from this life on Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 67. Sid was raised and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Nathan Hale High School Class of 1969. He was married to Karen Lea (Sanders) Bumgardner in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on June 27, 2009. Sid spent most of his working life self employed as a Court Reporter. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in Owasso. He had a variety of pastimes such as watching the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners and playing golf, but most of all he loved his family. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in Owasso with Bishop Michael Baird officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
