Help Families at Thanksgiving!
Sign up to donate a food basket for families in Owasso and Collinsville.
10/25/2017 – Owasso Community Resources provides families with a basket filled with all the food for a Thanksgiving meal. Please register your basket(s) donation with OCR by Monday, November 13th, so we can plan accordingly. If you would prefer to make a donation to cover the minimum contents, makes checks payable to OCR in the amount of $60.00. To register a basket call 918-272-4969 or email [email protected]
DROP OFF DATE: 2-5 pm on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 at Friendship Baptist Church, 14100 E. 86th St. N (east of Pizza Hut). Please use south entrance doors/drive up. Volunteers will help unload your basket.
Also, a $25 gift card for a turkey, ham or other meat item.
Included in the basket are:
• 1 basket or plastic tote/tub
• 2 Packages of rolls
• 2 Cans of corn
• 2 Cans of green beans
• 1 Can/pkg. of French onions
• 2 Cans of cream of mushroom soup
• 2 Boxes or 1 bag of stuffing mix
• 1 can chicken broth
• 1 Pie (bakery style or pie crust & canned filling)
• 1 Can of cranberry sauce
• 1 can of pumpkin
• 2 Cans/jars or packages of gravy
• Instant mashed potatoes
• $25 Gift card to Aldi or Walmart for turkey or ham
Other suggested items include: Canned sweet potatoes, Canned carrots, Canned peas, Cake or brownie mix, Marshmallows, Sandwich bread, Mayo or Miracle Whip, Mac & cheese, Canned baked beans, Fresh or canned fruit, Jello and Juice.
