While listening to Steve Mowery call the Owasso High School football game on the radio Friday, we also heard a call on another radio, dispatching fire units to Mowery Funeral Service, where a passer by reported the lawn sign on fire. Mowery’s is located at 9110 North Garnett Road.
The Owasso Fire department quickly arrived on scene and put out the flames. The only damage was to the sign, and there were no injuries.
