10/12/2019 – Owasso Police responded to a 911 call of a reported Physical Domestic Assault and Battery that resulted in a stabbing at a home near 11900 North 108th East Avenue in Owasso.
Upon arrival and initial investigation, it was determined that a 22yo female victim had been being physically assaulted by her boyfriend, a 23yo resident of the home. The suspect’s father was also present at the time and when he observed the altercation he intervened and was subsequently stabbed by the suspect in the chest.
Officers took the suspect into custody. The 22yo female victim was treated on scene by Owasso Fire/Medics for injuries related to strangulation and released. The 43yo father was transported emergency status to a Tulsa hospital and admitted in serious condition for the stab wound.
The suspect, 23yo Tyler Clark Jones of Owasso was taken into custody for (Attempted) Murder and Domestic Assault and Battery by Strangulation and transported to the Tulsa County Jail.
