Stanley Eugene Coverdell, of Owasso, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 11, 1958, in Afton, Oklahoma, Stan was the beloved son of Lloyd Coverdell and Delores Jensen.
Stanley married the love of his life, Melody (Cox) Coverdell on March 20, 1976, and together they built a beautiful life rooted in love, family, and resilience. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a cherished “Papa.”

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Coverdell and Delores Jensen; his brother, Charles Bateman; and his daughter, Ilea Coverdell.
Stan’s favorite color was blue, in his honor, the family invites all who attend his service to wear blue as a tribute to the man they will forever hold close in their hearts.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2025, at Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso.
