Thomas McKeil Hardy was born April 17, 1945 in Tulsa to Joseph Butler and Mary Elizabeth (Gibbs) Hardy. He passed from this life on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at his residence with his wife at his side. Thomas was raised and received his education in Tulsa, graduating from Will Rogers High School. He enlisted in the Army National Guard in February of 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1972. On September 1, 1967, he and Linda Faye Duniphin were united in marriage in Tulsa and to this union a son Ron was born. Thomas worked as a diesel mechanic for the Oklahoma Dept. of Transportation for many years. He and Linda have made Owasso home since July of 1995. Thomas was a member of Central Baptist Church of Owasso and enjoyed woodworking.
Those that survive and hold many cherished memories are his wife Linda of the home and son Ron Thomas Hardy of Tulsa. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services for Thomas will be held at 10:00 AM – Monday, September 29, 2014 in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa with Pastor Kevin Laufer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 28th from 2-4pm at Mowery Funeral Service.
