Tommy Lewis Haynie, JR, resident of Collinsville, passed from this life on Monday, July 7, 2014. He was 48 years of age. Tom was born March 28, 1966 in Tulsa, OK to Tommy Lewis and Joyce Holtzinger Haynie. He was raised and received his education in Owasso graduating with the Class of 1985. Tom went to work for Don Carlton Honda in Tulsa at an early age, and at the time of his death, was the manager of the part’s department. On January 28, 2000, he and Angela Chrisos were united in marriage inLas Vegas, Nevada. Tom enjoyed OU Football, cooking, racing, the Chicago Cubs but time with family was a priority for him.
Those that survive include his wife Angela of the home; Children – Shelby Haynie, Peyton Haynie, Danielle Haynie and Kayla Parker and her husband Chris of Edmond, OK; a sister Angela McGinnis and husband Brett of Owasso; brothers – Derek Haynie and wife Kelley of Broken Arrow, OK, Jason Haynie and wife Kenna of Collinsville; his mother and step father – Joyce and Bill Kelley of Owasso; as well as step siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Visitation for Tom will be on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 1-6pm at Mowery Funeral Service. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM-Monday, July 14th in the Chapel of the Mowery Funeral Service with Rev. Leonard Pirtle officiating. As per Tom’s request, following the services, cremation will take place.
