Travis Dean CummingsTravis Dean Cummings was born on July 29, 1941, in Wellington, Texas to James Frederick Cummings and Willie Mona (Johnson) Cummings. He passed from this life on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at his home in Inola, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years. Travis was raised and educated in Quail, Texas and graduated with the Quail high school class of 1959. He then enlisted and served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Travis spent most of his working life as a construction manager with Cust-O-Fab/InServ for almost 20 years. As he neared retirement, Travis started breeding Quarter horses and running cattle. He had attended Cowboy Church in Owasso but had most recently attended Asbury United Church in Tulsa. He was married on November 19, 2016, in Owasso to Pamela Ann (Wilson) Cummings. In his spare time, Travis enjoyed attending ranching events at the family arena in Owasso, riding horses, collecting animals, square dancing and golf, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Doris, brother, Billy Fred, brother, Ronald, son, Delane, and his parents, Fred and Willie.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Owasso located at 13307 E. 96th Street North. The family requests memorial contributions be made to PanCan PurpleStride Oklahoma 2023, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, California 90266. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
