EasleyTruman Easley was born May 7, 1938, near Cassville, Missouri, to Bee and Opal (Davidson) Easley. He died Friday, September 19, 2014, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years. Truman was reared and educated at Cassville and graduated with the Cassville High School Class of 1956. He was married March 16, 1957, at Cassville, to the former Mary Prier. He had spent much of his working life as crew chief with American Airlines in Tulsa. Truman was strong in his faith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Tulsa. He was also a member of the Broken Arrow Masonic Lodge. Truman was very proud of his son and wife’s willingness to serve in the Oklahoma Legislature and was instrumental in the success of their campaign.

Loving family members include the following: his wife of over 57 years, Mary, of the home; three children: Michael Easley and his wife Michelle of Glenpool, Oklahoma; Kevin Easley and his wife DeaAnn of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Lisa Easley-Gage and her husband Steve of Owasso, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Kilmyn Graf; Madison Easley-Green and her husband Martin; Kevin Easley, Jr.; Korbyn Easley; Miklynne Easley; Tristan Gage; and Trevor Gage; two brothers: Larry Easley of Cassville, Missouri; Carl Easley of Springfield, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Tulsa with Pastor Deron Spoo officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Michael Easley, Kevin Easley, Kevin Easley, Jr., Korbyn Easley, Steve Gage, Triston Gage, and Trevor Gage. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at Munsey Cemetery at Eagle Rock near Cassville, Missouri. The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Truman’s honor to Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa, 12620 East 31st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74146-2307.
