Kenneth Phillip Nelligan, 29, of Tulsa

05/28/2019 – Owasso Police responded to the JCPenny store Sunday afternoon after multiple calls of a fight in progress.

The police report shows that JCPenny employees reported Kenneth Phillip Nelligan, 29, of Tulsa entered the store with a woman just before 6:30 pm Sunday. The two approached the jewelry counter and asked to see a JBW watch, valued at $ 7,990.00.

The report states an employee removed the watch from the secured display counter and was holding it in her hands when Nelligan allegedly took it from her forcibly and ran out of the store.

A customer shopping at the store heard the employees screams and attempted to stop Nelligan as he ran out.  The man was able to restrain Nelligan until officers arrived, despite his attempts to break free. He was found with additional merchandise after arrested.

He was booked and then transported to the Tulsa County Jail where he remains at this time, with bond amounts topping $90,000.
