In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 30th 2014, Owasso Police responded to the area of 89th St North and 133rd East Avenue, in the Barrington Point neighborhood of Owasso, in reference to suspects vandalizing property.

 

 

Upon arrival in the area Officers located a vehicle, a black 4 door passenger car, matching the description called in by witnesses. During a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, Officers observed in plain view loaded firearms, several alcohol containers and a crowbar thought to be used during the vandalism. During the investigation Officers located at least 9 victims that had windows on their vehicles shattered, as well as vandalism to city owned street signs in the area.

 

Owasso Police arrested 22 year old Justin Duane Williams of Oologah and 22 year old Jonathan Joseph Jezek of Owasso. Williams faces charges of Carrying Firearms While Intoxicated, Transporting a Loaded Firearm in a Motor Vehicle, Malicious Injury/Destruction of Property Over $2500, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Jezek faces charges of Carrying a Firearm While Intoxicated, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Malicious Injury/Destruction of Property Over $2500 and Public Intoxication.

 

As of 6pm Saturday, 14 vandalism claims have been filed against the two.
