Adam Joseph McKean
09/21/2019 – At 3:50 p.m. today, Owasso 911 Dispatchers received a call from a female Uber driver who was yelling for help, saying she was being kidnapped. She was able to provide a description of the car and a general location (76th and Main) before the call ended.
Owasso officers converged on the area. They located and stopped the vehicle near 76th Street North and 129th East Avenue.
The Uber driver was rescued and reported to officers that the male suspect committed sexual battery upon her and forced her to continue to drive as she attempted to stop, forcibly interfering with her attempts to call 911.
Adam Joseph McKean, 35 was arrested and charged with:
- Kidnapping
- Sexual Battery
- Preventing Emergency Call
- Public Drunk
