Vennie Louise NantzVennie Louise Ingram Nantz was born February 28, 1927, in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, to Everett and Hattie Sisco Ingram. She entered heaven May 10, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years. Vennie was reared and educated in Locust Grove and graduated with the Locust Grove High School Class of 1946. She was proud of having played on the Locust Grove Lady Pirates basketball team that went to the state tournament. She was married February 12, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to George Lewis Nantz. Vennie spent over 29 years as an assembler at Zebco building Model 33 reels. She was strong in her faith attending Christs Church of Owasso. She prayed for her family and friends that one day all would be reunited. Vennie was the matriarch of the family and a pillar holding everyone together through good times and bad. She was a feisty, spunky red-head who always wanted to have fun and let her presence be known. She loved to be told how young and beautiful she looked or she would let you know. More than anything, she was proud of her family. She never grew tired of bragging on her kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews, and what they each had accomplished, be it large or small.
