08/08/2017 – The Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard will have to find a new way to get around after the Tulsa tornado damaged their van.  During Sunday mornings storm,  a large tree landed on top of the van.

The VFW Honor Guard says they often used the van to travel to funerals of fellow veterans showing their support for the deceased and their family.

Honor Guard Commander Larry Hill tells us the Van is a total loss and they will be raising money for a new one.

Owasso VFW Commander Carroll Harris tells us the Owasso VFW will be taking donations for the van at their Catfish Dinner on Saturday, August 12th. The dinner is held at the Owasso Community Center, 301 South Cedar from 4-7pm.

If you are able to assist this organization in their efforts contact Contact Larry Hill at [email protected] or call Larry at 918-361-5213 or Jean at 918-637-3397
