Wanda Jean Wood was born July 10, 1950, in Dustin, Oklahoma, to Loyd Tuck and Lillian (Alonize) Tuck. She died on Friday, March 26, 2021, at her home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, at the age of 70 years. Wanda was married on June 9, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Robert Wood. She spent most of her working life in the home raising her 4 children. In her spare time, Wanda enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as playing bingo, watching game shows and soap operas, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Lillian, and her sister, Doris.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Interment will be held at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso.
