Spread the love

Wesston Michael LeGrand, known to most simply as Wess, 39, went home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of September 13, 2025. Wess was born on November 22, 1985 in Cedar Vale Kansas to Gail Bailey LeGrand and Samuel Mark LeGrand. Wess graduated from Sedan Highschool in 2004 and later went on to achieve his welding administration degree from Coffeyville Community College. He continued with that degree as an instructional welder for the greater of 10 years until he found his true passion and calling in Sales and Marketing. Whether it was going out in the field and meeting new people or attending large events with his company, Wess had a love for socializing and building new relationships. Wess had a natural gift for connection — his big, infectious smile and quick humor drew people in and made them feel like lifelong friends.

Wess was a die hard San Francisco 49er’s fan always making sure everyone knew. Some of Wesston’s favorite memories involved sports, the outdoors, fishing with grandpa Bob or bragging about his Grandpa Buck LeGrand being a famous rodeo clown. Wess always had a special place in his heart for his Mom and was the true definition of a momma’s boy. Wes loved inviting friends and family over for UFC Fight Nights and bringing people together. Wess took pride in the years he was able to be a youth football, basketball, and baseball coach, allowing him to make an impact on the lives of so many young men and build lasting friendships with each of the coaches. Wess began attending Church on the Move in Catoosa recently and loved to praise the Lord alongside his family.

Wesston’s true passion and love however, was his family. Wess married the love of his life Teresa Wadsworth on April 28, 2011 in Tulsa Ok. Together, they spent the next 14 years raising their 5 beautiful children, building a life of love and legacy, and most recently embarking on a new found love for their lawn and landscaping business that they ran side by side. Wess loved and adored his children with all he had. Whether it was attending sporting events to cheer them on or coaching their teams, he more than enjoyed watching them do what they love and being their number 1 fan. He was a superfan not only of each and every one of his children but also of the Owasso Rams. You never had to wonder if Wess was there as he made sure everyone could hear how proud he was of his children.

Wesston is survived by his loving wife Teresa LeGrand and children Peyton, Jaclynn, Kaydence, Arisia, and Easton of the home. Siblings: Summer(Ben) Lane and children Austin (Braylee), Destiny, and Mason of Sedan, KS; Shannon LeGrand and son Sammy of Stillwater, OK; Janna (Patrick) Metzinger and children Brady, Abigail, Caroline of Skiatook, OK; Montana LeGrand of Sedan, KS; Bailey(Michael) Sterrett and children Eleanor and Kayde of Kansas City, KS; Jesse Jo LeGrand and children Beckham, Macon, and Baylor of Bartlesville, OK; he leaves behind numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins; In-Laws Sharon (Richard) Wadsworth of Oologah, Ryan(Christianne) Wadsworth and children Raina and Ryanne of Mississippi; and special friend Leon Tearl of Bartlesville, OK. Wess will be remembered for his sense of humor, his contagious laugh, his fierce loyalty, and his faith in God. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and devotion — a legacy that will continue through his wife, his children, and everyone whose life he touched.
