W HarmonWinfred E. Harmon was born September 13, 1932, in Salem, Missouri, to Lester and Alma (Matlock) Harmon. He died Tuesday, February 21, 2017, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years. Winfred was educated in Steeleville, Missouri and attended Steeleville High School, but enlisted in the United States Navy before his graduation. After being honorably discharged, Winfred spent most of his working life as a machinist, working for himself. He was married on July 14, 1956 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Hulda “Jean” (Price) Harmon. Winfred was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and in his spare time loved fishing and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Harmon, parents, Lester and Alma Harmon, brother, J.M. Harmon, sister, Charlotte McKellips, brother, Clark Harmon, and sister, Glenna Pitts.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
