Z M CatlettZella Mae Catlett was born June 24, 1927, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to Andrew Jackson Dennis and Nancy Ethel Epps. She died Thursday, October 19, 2017, in Collinsville at the age of 90 years. Zella completed her secondary education in Collinsville and graduated with the Collinsville High School Class of 1946. She was married February 28, 1948, in Collinsville, to Wesley Gore Catlett. Zella spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. She always had an open door and over the years provided child care out of her home for over 150 kids. She had attended the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including quilting, knitting, and listening to music. Most important to her was her family.

Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
Two daughters; Nancy Ethel Thompson and DeeAnne Gorton, both of Collinsville
Six grandchildren;
Chantell Moss, of Collinsville; Ginger Jacobson, of Collinsville; Clifton (Bubby) Gorton, of Skiatook, OK; Jennifer Stringfellow, of Sperry, OK; Annalena Solomon, of Collinsville, and Devin E. Gorton, of Collinsville
10 great grandchildren;
Patrick Moss, Adam Stringfellow, Ryan Solomon, Jon Wyatt Jacobson, Riley Jacobson, Braden Wesley Gorton, Alyssa Bree Stringfellow, Wesley Jacobson, Gracie Jacobson, and Isabella Gorton
Sister; Marjorie Rubeck, of Tahlequah, OK
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 59 years, Wesley, and five sisters and brothers.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Larry Jacobson officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Patrick Moss, Ryan Solomon, Adam Stringfellow, Clifton (Bubby) Gorton, J.J. Jacobson, and Joe Solomon. Honorary casket bearers will be Wyatt Jacobson, Wesley Jacobson, Braden Gorton, Jacob Gorton, and Gary Stringfellow. Committal service and interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Owasso Baptist Home for Children, 12700 East 76th Street North, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
