As grilling season is officially upon us, make sure to transform your ordinary cookout into a finger-licking backyard BBQ with sauces, seasoning and dips rivaling your favorite steakhouse.

Your one stop for all those mouthwatering flavors is Fire ‘N The Hole in Owasso, a one-of-a-kind shop and the only of its type in Northeastern Oklahoma. With over 300 specialty hot sauces—mild to extreme—as well as salsas, BBQ and marinade sauces, wing sauces, dip mixes, specialty mustards, dry rubs and seasonings, and jerk seasoning, you will find something to make your taste buds sing. They even offer diabetic-friendly, low-sodium and MSG-free options.

These are truly specialty flavors as 95 percent of the items cannot be found in local retail or big box stores. If you aren’t sure what flavors you’re looking for or want to try something new without the risk of purchasing something you don’t love, Fire ‘N The Hole offers over 30 items to try on their daily sample bar.

Choose from brands such as Kansas City MO’s Grinders hot sauces, High Rivers hot sauces, Mag Dog hot sauces, Hawgwash BBQ, Salvy Sousa OMG BBQ, Third Coast Jalapeno Gold (candied jalapenos), Sticky Pig Mustard Sauce, or Pearl Snap Salsa which is proudly made in Coweta, Okla., along with other locally-made and imported products.

Owners Joe and Katherine Miller wanted to bring something to the Owasso community that not only offers delicious, unique options, but keeps revenue local and brings life back to Main Street at the same time. Almost three years ago, they opened Fire ‘N The Hole to provide just that. With giving back in mind, they also sell cancer awareness T-shirts, donating the proceeds to Oklahoma Project Woman. (Attitude T-shirts can also be purchased.)

As a three-year breast cancer survivor, Oklahoma Project Woman is close to Kathy’s heart. The statewide comprehensive program provides free mammograms, diagnostic procedures and surgical services for Oklahomans with no health insurance and limited financial resources. OPW is a collaborative effort linking multiple breast healthcare institutions to women who may not be able to afford appropriate medical care.

They also offer service discounts to all police, fire and military personnel—active, retired or veteran.

Fire ‘N The Hole is located at 126 S. Main St., in Owasso. For more information, visit them at http://www.firenthehole.webs.com/ or check them out on Facebook; email [email protected]; or call (918) 804-8686.
