07/17/2025 – In the early morning hours of July 17, 2025, an Owasso Police officer spotted an Infiniti SUV traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 169 with a defective headlight and a fraudulent paper tag. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop near East 126th Street North, but the situation quickly escalated.

Although the vehicle initially pulled over, it sped off moments later as the officer exited their patrol car. A pursuit began and continued northbound on U.S. 169, eventually exiting at East 146th Street North and heading east.

During the pursuit, four individuals—believed to be juveniles—bailed from the moving SUV and fled on foot. The vehicle continued on until it came to a stop near East 146th Street North and North 161st East Avenue. The driver, a 16-year-old juvenile, was taken into custody at the scene.

Further investigation revealed the Infiniti SUV had been reported stolen out of Broken Arrow. The teenage suspect now faces charges including felony eluding and possession of a stolen vehicle. The four individuals who fled the scene remain at large.

Authorities note this is an arrest, not a conviction, and the investigation remains ongoing.
