Modern Healthcare has announced rankings for health care organizations recognized as Best Places to Work in Healthcare, with Bailey Medical Center ranked #18 among the top in the country for the tenth year.

“Bailey Medical Center strives for exceptional patient service and care, and receiving this award again only affirms our commitment to excellence,” said Scott Lasson, CEO of Bailey Medical Center. “Our teams are unmatched, and I am extremely proud of their continued efforts to promote excellent workplace culture in addition to their work providing the best service to our patients and community.”

Bailey Medical Center joins five other entities from Ardent Health Services, the hospital’s parent company based in Nashville, Tennessee. Two hospitals from Hillcrest HealthCare System, Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital and Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta were also ranked among the best – at #9 and #61, respectively.

“In light of the challenging environment for caregivers over the last two years, having team members rank their employer among the best in the country is an incredible testament to the power of a workplace where people feel connected to their purpose and supported by their leaders,” shares Ardent President and CEO Marty Bonick. “I am grateful to our teams for their commitment to creating a healthy workplace and culture of belonging that allows people to thrive in meaningful roles and make a difference in their communities.”

Modern Healthcare’s rankings are based on a confidential employee survey and in-depth questionnaire assessing overall satisfaction, work-life balance, communication, policies and practices, work environment and culture.
