Malorie Thompson, a 13 year old home schooled student in Owasso, founded The Big Sister Project as a community outreach program to build healthy relationships with children helping children. She will be competing in the 2017 Miss Owasso Outstanding Teen Pageant.
The Big Sister Project and Relevé Performing Arts are teaming up for a Coat, Blanket and Canned Food Drive. The coat and blankets are going to Youth Services of Tulsa and the food is going to Owasso Community Resources.
They are asking for adult coats: sizes small-3x, large warm blankets and a variety of canned goods. Youth Services are also in need of adult gloves, hats, scarves and personal tents.
