B J DonahoBrenda June Donaho was born September 5, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Donald and Norma June Stevens Eastin. She died Thursday, December 7, 2017, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 62 years. Brenda was reared and educated in Collinsville, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Collinsville High School Class of 1973. She was married August 19, 1971, in Owasso to Donny Donaho. Brenda later went on to earn her nursing degree from Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma. She spent most of her working life as a registered nurse with St Francis Hospital and St. John Health System until her retirement. Brenda enjoyed a variety of pastimes including reading, traveling, and shooting guns. She loved spending time with her sister Sandi. They shared an extraordinary bond. She was always helping people without the expectation of receiving anything in return. She was an anchor and strong support for her family. She especially proud of her grandchildren and could always be found at their football games, basketball games, or watching her granddaughter Caitlin cheer. If the grandchildren were involved, Brenda could be found nearby. Brenda created many cherished memories that her children and grandchildren will be able to hold in their hearts forever. We may not understand why she was taken so early in life, but we can all find comfort in knowing we will all have our very own guardian angel watching over us.
