Carolyn Sue Testerman was born January 18, 1943, in Weatherby, Missouri, to Vernon Wayne Smith and Virgie Helen Dunham Smith. She died Monday, May 19, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years. Carolyn was reared and educated in Owasso and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1960. She was married September 6, 1963, in Owasso to Jesse Robert Testerman. Carolyn spent most of her professional career with Farmer’s Insurance as an administrative secretary. She was a strong woman of faith and was a longtime faithful member of Rejoice Church, formerly Owasso First Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, but her family was most important to her. She dearly loved her family and was especially fond of her role as “Nana” to her grandkids. Carolyn was also known for making the best cinnamon rolls which she often distributed for the holidays.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jesse Testerman, son Darrin Testerman, parent’s Wayne and Virgie Smith, mother-in-law and father-in-law Foy and Odella Testerman, sister Marolyn Brewer, daughter-n-law Leona Testerman, brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Sherian Smith, and niece Vikki Izon.
