Daniel R. DillmanDaniel R. Dillman was born on August 15, 1971, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to David Keith Dillman and Pauline “Polly” Ellen (Mitts) Dillman. He passed from this life at his home in Owasso, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the age of 52 years. Daniel was raised and educated in Skiatook, Oklahoma and graduated with the Skiatook High School Class of 1989. After high school he went on a basketball scholarship to John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas where he played for the NAIA National Championship team while earning his bachelor’s degree in education. Daniel later earned his master’s degree in education while teaching and coaching with Skiatook Public Schools. He worked as a teacher and a coach in Vinita, Oklahoma and Picher, Oklahoma before spending the majority of his working career as in Skiatook for over 19 years. In Skiatook Daniel coached girls basketball, boys basketball, tennis, soccer and softball, and won the 2001 State Softball Championship. After leaving Skiatook, he worked a brief stint for DHS. Daniel had most recently been teaching at Collinsville Public Schools, where he worked as a bus driver, sixth grade math teacher, and oversaw the in-school suspension classes. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing basketball, watching college football, coaching, working out, but most of he loved spending time with his family.

A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023, at First Church in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
