A former Owasso Dentist was was charged Monday with money laundering.
The charge alleges Dr. W. Scott Harrington who practiced in Owasso and Tulsa had acquired more than $15,000 through fraudulent Medicaid billing services.
After allegedly exposing over 5,000 patients to HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C spread from unclean instruments, his practice was shut down and Harrington surrendered his dental license in August 2014.
Multiple civil suites have been filed against Harrington by former patients in regards to the above health concerns.
