The Friends of the Owasso Police are beginning the new year with the new 2016 window decal campaign.
These decals show the citizens and our police department that we are a united community. Decals can be purchased for as little as a $ 50.00 dollar donation.
The goal is to have a Friends of the Owasso Police decal on every business in the City of Owasso. There are several levels of support, but no matter what level you choose over 99% of your donation will go directly to the Owasso Police Department to purchase items not currently funded in their budget.
In 2015. The Friends of the Owasso Police raised over $26,000, allowing for the purchase of a new K9 Officer as well as providing much needed technology to the detective division. Twenty officers now have outer vests to help with the strain of the excessive weight they must carry to accomplish their day to day duties.
Friends of Owasso Police are currently awaiting approval from Owasso City Council to purchase an additional K9 Officer.
The Friends of the Owasso Police organization is currently raising money to purchase tasers for the department, as well as coordinating a joint venture with Southern Agriculture to provide for the daily needs of our K9 officers.
In addition to the decal, you can purchase a FOOP T-shirt, with all profits benefiting the Friends of the Owasso Police . You can choose from a variety of sizes and colors and for a small additional cost have it customized.
